My films are about what people would rather not say. My photographs are about what they walk past every day.

Documentary found me before any film school did. I co-produced and edited Nobody Knows My Name, a feature about George Brown, who hijacked a plane to Algeria in 1972 and then disappeared into Paris for thirty-five years. Three years in an edit suite with that story taught me more than any course could.
Then came advertising, first as a copywriter at Scholz & Friends, then behind the camera. For more than a decade I have shot, cut and directed films for brands, magazines, theatres and galleries: Frontex and IKEA, Vogue Korea and Lane Crawford, Teatr Stary in Kraków and BWA Wrocław. It paid the rent and sharpened the eye.
The work I care about most is the kind nobody commissions. With Klementyna Suchanow I created what the f*ck is going on, a series about the ultra-conservative network that reaches from Warsaw to the Kremlin. I am producing Prosecuting the Powerful, ten episodes on how people without power dragged presidents and warlords into court, and Mystery of a Lie, about a celebrated Nazi hunter who was most likely a Soviet agent of influence. Together with Klementyna I wrote The Smarter, the Dumber, in which Witold Gombrowicz gets to play himself once more. I am finishing a documentary for Polish public television on the return of fascism. And I am building expose, an investigative film studio for the part of Europe where the decisive stories of this decade are breaking. All of it lives under parrhēsia.pictures.
I work in Polish, English and French.
